Apple Watch Battery Life: Dwindling?

in Apple Watch Experience, Apple Watch Problems

I’ve written before that Apple Watch battery life is “pretty damn good, actually.” But I’m beginning to wonder.

In the past week, the battery in my Apple Watch (sapphire/stainless steel version) seems to be draining more quickly than it used to. Example: Last night, when I placed the Watch on its charger, it only had 17 percent battery power left. That’s the lowest I’ve seen it before, and I’ve had my Watch since late April. I used the Watch to record a two-hour exercise session yesterday, but that’s not out of the ordinary for me.

As I write this, I’ve been wearing my Watch for about an hour, and the battery is already down to 90 percent.

I have an extra charger, so I’ll experiment with using it to recharge my Watch. I’ll update this post if I have more to report. In the meantime, if anyone else has noticed that their Watch battery seems to be losing some of its mojo, please share in the comments below.

In just the last few days mine has been draining much faster. I have been trying to figure out what happened to change the rate. Thought maybe a new app was running constantly or something. But I haven’t found the culprit. Interested to know what you discover.
